Refunds
Cancellations and refunds.
We sell two different things and they refund differently. Work is quoted as a fixed price and built in stages, where what you can get back depends on whether the stage had started. A guide is a file delivered in seconds, and that changes the answer — so it has its own section below.
Refunds are made to the original payment method within 5 to 7 business days of being agreed.

What you get back
Anything you have paid for a stage that has not started is returned in full. If you change your mind before we begin, you are not out of pocket. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum charge.
If we cannot deliver what was quoted — for any reason on our side — you get back everything you paid for the part we did not deliver, whether or not that stage had started.
If you are charged twice for the same invoice, or charged an amount that does not match your quote, tell us and the difference comes back. That is a mistake, not a cancellation.
Guides and downloads
If the file did not reach you, you get your money back in full. The link never arrived, the download failed, the file will not open, you were charged twice, or you were charged and no order exists — all of those are our problem and all of them are refunded, whether or not you managed to open anything. Tell us and we will normally just send the file, because that is usually what you actually wanted.
Once the file has been downloaded, it cannot be returned. There is no way to take a PDF back, and a download that could be refunded after reading is a book everybody reads for nothing. This is the ordinary position for digital goods and it is the one we apply.
That is why there is a free sample of every guide, and why this same rule is printed above the buy button rather than only here. You can read a real part of the book, for nothing, before you decide — and if you have not read the sample, that is on us to have shown you, so ask.
Your download link lasts 90 days and works up to 40 times. If it expires or runs out while you still need the file, email us — you bought it, and we will send it.
What you do not get back
A stage that has begun is not refundable. Custom work is built to one brief and cannot be sold to anybody else, so the hours spent on your project are spent whether or not it finishes. This is the ordinary position for commissioned work and it is the one we apply.
Money paid for work already delivered and accepted is not refundable. Nor are the two costs that were never ours: a domain registered in your name is paid to the registrar, and payment gateway charges are taken by the gateway. Both are named up front in the terms for this reason.
A guide that has been downloaded is not refundable either, for the reasons set out under Guides and downloads above — along with the several things about a guide that are refunded in full.
Annual renewals
From year two, keeping a site online costs ₹5,000 a year for a website and ₹10,000 for an online store. These are the only recurring charges, and they are invoiced individually rather than taken automatically from a stored card.
Cancel any time before the renewal invoice is paid and nothing is charged. Tell us at least 7 days before the renewal date so we can plan the handover rather than switching a live site off.
Once a renewal is paid, that year runs. The service it buys — hosting, security updates, daily backups, bug fixes and support — is provided continuously across the whole term, so it is not refunded part-way through. If we stop providing it, that is the case above and you get the unused part back.
Whatever happens, your domain is registered in your name and stays yours, and we will hand over your data and give you a reasonable window to move.
How to ask for a refund
Email info@codkrafters.com or call +91 91121 53866. Tell us which invoice, and what happened. You do not need to fill in a form or use particular wording.
We will reply within two business days with a decision and the reasoning. If we agree, the money is sent back to the method you paid from within 5 to 7 business days. How long it then takes to appear is up to your bank, not us — usually a further two to three days.
If you disagree with our decision, say so and it goes to the proprietor personally rather than to a queue. His name and contact details are at the foot of this page.
