Document automation
Document and PDF automation
Some businesses retype the same customer details into six different documents, each with its own layout, each with a format somebody official will reject if it is wrong.
That is a solvable problem. One form, filled once, generating every document exactly as the authority expects it — with the fields that depend on other fields worked out for you rather than remembered.
Where paperwork goes wrong
- The same details are typed into six forms, and one of them is always wrong.
- A submission was rejected because a layout was a few millimetres out.
- Completed paperwork sits in a shared folder with no record of who opened it.
What document automation replaces
- One form that fills every document a process needs
- Exact page layouts, including official formats that must match to the millimetre
- Field dependencies handled once, so an answer here changes the right box there
- Links that expire, so a document does not circulate for ever
- A record of who generated and downloaded what
Document automation we have built

Quoted after a call, as one fixed price. The scope is set by the documents themselves — how many, how strict their layouts, and how much one answer changes another — so we look at your actual paperwork before quoting.
Document automation questions we get first
- Our forms are government formats. Can they be matched exactly?
- Yes. The solar filings we automated are fixed A4 layouts where a shifted field is a rejected application, so the generator places content to the millimetre and scales overflow rather than reflowing the page.
- Can document automation work from data we already have?
- Usually. If the details live in a spreadsheet or an existing system, the form can be pre-filled from it rather than retyped.
- Is document automation the same as AI?
- No, and it should not be. These documents have exact rules, and rules belong in code where the same input always produces the same output. We would rather tell you that than sell you a model.
