Terms
Terms and conditions.
These terms govern the work CODKRAFTERS does for you and the website you are reading. They are written to be read once and understood, not to be survived.
By asking us to start work, or by paying an invoice, you agree to them.
Last updated 26 September 2026
1. Who you are contracting with
CODKRAFTERS is the trading name of Sumit Ramesh Kolekar, trading as CODKRAFTERS, a sole proprietorship registered in India. There is no separate company: the proprietor is personally the party to your contract, and personally answerable under it.
Our full address, phone number and email are at the foot of this page.
2. What we agree to build
Every project starts with a conversation and ends with a written quote naming a fixed price and a scope. That quote is the agreement. Work begins when you accept it and the first payment reaches us.
A standard website is ₹25,000 and an online store is ₹40,000, each with the whole of the first year included. Anything that is not one of those two — an app, an AI system, an internal tool — is quoted after a call as a single fixed number agreed before anything starts.
Changes of scope are re-quoted, never absorbed silently. If you ask for something outside the agreed scope we will tell you what it costs and wait for you to say yes. We will not add it to a final invoice you have not seen coming.
3. What you give us, and when the clock starts
We need your content — text, images, logos, product details, access to any accounts we have to configure. A website is usually 2 to 3 weeks and an online store 4 to 6 weeks, counted from the day we have your content, not from the day you paid.
That distinction is the honest one and it works both ways: we do not start the clock before we can build, and we do not blame a delay on you without having asked for the thing we were waiting on.
You confirm that anything you send us is yours to send. If content you supply infringes somebody else's rights, that is your responsibility rather than ours.
4. Payment
Projects are invoiced in stages, named in your quote. An invoice is due within seven days unless it says otherwise.
Work on a stage pauses if its invoice is unpaid. We will tell you before that happens rather than going quiet.
Guides are different. They are paid for in full at the checkout through our payment gateway, not invoiced, and the file is delivered as soon as the payment clears. There are no stages and nothing is owed afterwards.
Prices on this site are in Indian rupees and are the total. CODKRAFTERS is not registered for GST, so no tax is added on top of the figure you are quoted.
5. Two costs that are not ours
Both are named here for the same reason they are named on the pricing page: a cost that appears after a decision has been made reads as a surprise, however small it is.
- Your domain name — roughly ₹800 to ₹1,500 a year, paid to the registrar and registered in your name so it stays yours. We set the whole thing up.
- Payment gateway charges — around 2% of each order on a store, taken by the gateway rather than by us. Nothing to pay until you are being paid.
6. Renewals, from year two
The first year of hosting, security, daily backups, bug fixes, support and your admin panel is included in the build price. After that it is ₹5,000 a year for a website and ₹10,000 a year for an online store. A year, not a month.
We will remind you before a renewal falls due. If a renewal goes unpaid, the site stops being hosted and supported by us — it goes offline, and backups stop. Your domain is registered in your name and is unaffected; you keep it whatever happens between us.
Nothing renews automatically against a stored card. Each renewal is invoiced and paid deliberately, so there is no subscription running quietly in the background.
7. Who owns what
On final payment for a project, the work is yours — the design, the code written for you, and the content we produced for it. We transfer it outright rather than licensing it back to you.
Two things stay ours, and neither limits what you can do with your site: the general tools, libraries and techniques we reuse across clients, and the right to describe the project publicly as our work. If you would rather we did not show it, say so and we will not.
8. Guides, and what you may do with one
A guide is a file, not a project, so section 7 does not fit it — nothing is transferred outright and nothing is built to your brief. What you buy is one personal copy, yours to keep and use in your own work.
Read it, print it, keep it as long as you like, and use what is in it in your own business or your clients' — that is what it is for, and we are not asking to be credited.
What we ask is that the file itself stays with you: please do not re-upload it, sell it, share it as a download, or use it to train a model. A small studio wrote this and the price only works if the people who use it are the people who bought it.
The copyright stays ours. Your download link is yours for 90 days and works up to 40 times — generous on purpose, because that limit is there to stop a link being passed around, not to catch you re-downloading onto a second device. The file you have saved is yours to keep after the link expires.
9. What we do not promise
We will fix faults in what we built. We cannot promise that software is free of every defect, that a third party we do not control stays available, or that any particular business result follows from a website — no search ranking, no volume of sales, no number of enquiries.
Where we are liable, our liability is limited to the amount you have paid us for the work the claim concerns. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit or lost data, except where the law does not allow that limit.
10. Ending the engagement
Either of us can stop. What happens to money already paid is set out on the refunds and cancellation page, which forms part of these terms.
If we end it, we hand over everything completed and paid for. We will not hold finished work hostage over a dispute about something else.
11. Disclaimer
This website and everything on it is provided as it is. The case studies describe real projects and the prices are real prices, but nothing here is a warranty, and nothing here is professional advice for your particular situation.
Where we link to another company's website, we do not control it and are not responsible for what it says or does.
Any figure we quote about a project — a speed measurement, a timeline, a result — describes that project. It is not a prediction about yours.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Kolhapur, Maharashtra have jurisdiction.
Before that, talk to us. Email info@codkrafters.com and we will answer. Most things that look like disputes are misunderstandings about scope, and those get resolved in a phone call.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top changes when we do, and the terms that apply to your project are the ones in force when you accepted your quote — not whatever is on this page later.
